My Favorite AI Tools (today)

These are my favorite AI Tools (as of today). I've tried hundreds of options and paid thousands of dollars (so you don't have to):

Fireflies.ai - Note taking for your online meetings and so much more: transcription, voice notes, meeting performance, automatic task creation, etc.

I've tried Otter, Sembly, and a few other native tools (Zoom AI and Google Meet AI). Fireflies is my favorite. $18 per month for Pro.

My top Fireflies use cases: Double-booked for a time slot? Want notes for a meeting you can't attend? Send Fireflies on your behalf. You can finally be in two places at once.

Ideogram.ai - The top prompt-to-image generation tool for business purposes (particularly if you want text in your images). I've talked about this one before. It's still great! $8 per month for basic but I use Plus for $20 per month.

Dripify.io - Expand your network on LinkedIn with this automated growth hack. Target and connect with your audience without risking your account. $80 per month for Pro.

Perplexity.ai - Bridges the gap between a Google search and an LLM research request.  Perplexity does deep searches, cites the work, and summarize the result.  None of the other LLMs can compete. Free is great but pro is only $20 per month.

I'm also very interested to see Perplexity's upcoming browser: Comet (when they release it).  For now, get a spot on the waitlist

Blotato - Create viral social media content across all of your platforms (with ease). This tool is great for content ideas, faceless video generation, image creation, and scheduled posting across all of your channels. $29 per month.

Plus Sabrina (the wildly successful AI founder) holds weekly calls where she answers questions about anything AI, Social Media, etc. This weekly session (alone) is worth the subscription.

ChatGPT - The space gets noisier every day.  Are there tools with 3.5% better performance / speed / results?  Yup.  

Open AI still offers the most comprehensive suite of tools in one platform: Image generation, deep research, advanced reasoning, Custom GPTs, Memory, Tasks, API integration services...  no one else is doing all of this for $20 per month.

Gamma.app - Create AI generated presentations in a few minutes. I'm tired of slogging through a new PowerPoint each time I need to present a topic.  Hours go by.  

Instead, use a prompt and drop the resulting cards (with images, text and speaker notes) straight into a branded PowerPoint template. Done.  $10 per month for Plus. 

Other things to note this week: 

Google NotebookLM just released an App for iPhone and Android. Create a custom podcast based on a website, YouTube video, PDF, text (right from your phone). Grab it in the App Store.

Manus.im now creates images.  Check their use case video.
