Hey there,

A while ago, I shared a prompt to help you automate your content calendar with AI.

This week, we’re kicking it up a notch by using AI to generate the actual posts.

Here’s my go-to workflow:

1. Use the AI Content Calendar Prompt to map out your month (missed it? I’ve dropped it at the bottom of this email). Make sure to populate the prompt with your product / service and brand details before running it.

2. Then, use the following prompt to create the actual content for the calendar you've planned for the month. This way, AI drafts posts that hit your goals, sound like you, and speak to your audience.

From there, a quick polish is all it takes.

The Prompt: AI-Powered Social Media Content Creation

Once you're happy with your content calendar, copy and paste this prompt into ChatGPT (or your favorite AI tool) in the same chat dialogue you used to create the calendar.

---------------

Context:
Using the content calendar as a guide, you will be developing compelling social media posts for the following Social Media Platform:

[INSERT SOCIAL MEDIA CHANNEL]

The posts should be engaging, tailored to the platform, and aligned with the brand’s goals, tone, and content themes.

Role:
You are an expert social media copywriter with expertise in persuasive storytelling, platform trends, and brand consistency. You know how to write content that converts, sparks engagement, entertains, and builds trust.

Action:
For each calendar entry:

1.     Draft 1–2 post variations based on the social media channel, content theme, and format

2.     Write a strong hook to grab attention

3.     Adjust tone to match the platform

4.     Suggest visuals or creative direction

5.     Include a clear CTA (if applicable)

Use the following examples to drive the format and voice of the posts.

[Insert your example posts below. These can be either examples of high-performing posts that you’ve done or examples from top creators you want to emulate].

Example 1: [Insert example post]

Example 2: [Insert example post]

Example 3: [Insert example post]

Final Instruction:
Before generating the posts, ask any clarifying questions needed to ensure the output matches the brand voice, audience, or goals. If anything is unclear—such as the tone, platform nuances, or visual direction—ask first.

Missed the Content Calendar Prompt?

If you didn’t catch the email, here’s the AI prompt to build your content calendar:

---------------

Context:

You are tasked with creating a comprehensive monthly social media content calendar that strategically plans and schedules posts across various platforms.

[INSERT DETAILS ABOUT YOUR PRODUCT / SERVICE AND BRAND]

The calendar should focus on engagement, consistency, and audience growth, ensuring that the content aligns with brand goals, key marketing campaigns, and trending topics. It should include different content types (e.g., promotional, educational, entertaining) and specify post formats (e.g., videos, carousels, reels, stories). Additionally, the calendar should optimize posting times based on platform best practices.

Role:

You are a top-tier social media strategist with over 10 years of experience in content marketing, digital branding, and audience engagement. You specialize in content planning, algorithm optimization, and audience insights, helping brands increase visibility and engagement across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), and YouTube.

Action:

1. Define the Content Strategy – Outline the brand's objectives for the month (e.g., brand awareness, product launch, community engagement) and how the social media content will support these goals.

2. Identify Content Pillars – Break down the content into 3-5 core themes (e.g., educational tips, behind-the-scenes, user-generated content, promotions).

3. Map Out Posting Schedule – Create a structured weekly plan that includes post frequency and best posting times for each platform.

4. Specify Post Types & Formats – Detail whether posts will be static images, reels, carousels, infographics, memes, blog links, polls, or other formats.

5. Include Captions & Hashtags – Provide sample captions and recommended hashtags tailored for each post.

6. Incorporate Engagement Strategies – Suggest interactive elements like questions, challenges, giveaways, or trends to boost engagement.

7. Plan for Seasonal & Trending Topics – Align content with relevant holidays, events, or viral trends.

8. Allocate Resources & Tools – Identify tools for scheduling (e.g., Later, Hootsuite, Buffer) and content creation (e.g., Canva, CapCut, Adobe Express). 9. Track & Optimize Performance – Include a section for analytics tracking (e.g., engagement rate, reach, conversions) to refine future strategies.

Format:

Generate the content calendar as a Table Format with the following columns:

- Date – When the post will be published

- Platform – Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.

- Post Type – Image, video, reel, carousel, blog, etc.

- Content Theme – Education, promotion, behind-the-scenes, etc.

- Post Description – Summary of the post content

- Caption – Sample text for the post

- Hashtags – Recommended hashtags

- Call-to-Action (CTA) â€“ Desired audience action (e.g., "Comment below," "Click the link," "Tag a friend")

Target Audience:

This content calendar is designed for small business owners, social media managers, influencers, and marketing teams who need a structured, easy-to-follow plan to boost engagement and consistency across social media platforms. The audience values clarity, organization, and efficiency in content planning.

Why Entrepreneurs Shouldn’t Ignore Sora 2
Something big recently dropped. We’re talking about Sora 2: OpenAI’s video generation platform.  Think of it like joining TikTok in 2018, posting good content regularly...and grabbing a serious following before it got noisy. That’s what Sora 2 is right now.A wide open lane. The algorithm isn’t great yet, which means good content stands out. But it will improve soon. This is your window. I just ...
The $1 Million Money Model Custom GPT
In August, Alex Homozi released his third book, "$100 Million Money Models." If you're not familiar with him, type his name into a Youtube search. He's the multi-milllionaire wearing the tank top, baseball hat, and nose strip.   Hormozi sold 2.9 million books in less than 24 hours, setting a new world record.  After reading his first two books, I was first in line for his third.  I've now read ...
3 workarounds to fix ChatGPT’s most annoying problems
Hey there, Let's be real: ChatGPT is powerful, but using it can be painfully clunky. If you’ve ever lost a great response in a sea of untitled chats, scrolled endlessly to find one specific idea, or wondered why you can’t just star a good line for later…same. I recently made a video about this: The ChatGPT Problems Nobody Talks About And today, we’re sharing a few workarounds you can use right ...
